Ingredients:
6″ baked round cake (any flavour)
6″ baked diameter half sphere (ball) cake (any flavour)
Pink, light pink, dark pink, white, green buttercream Recipe here: https://youtu.be/rjqOTM5icOE
Candies- orange Mike and Ike, green Skittles, red M&M’s
Brown and yellow fondant
Cloves

Procedure:
1. Level round and ball cakes, and set removed tops to the side to use later.
2. Stack 6″ and ball cakes together, and trim a thin portion off one of the sides to allow the cake to sit flat.
3. Place trimmed section down on a cake plate, and cover cake in white (or desired) buttercream.
4. Roll fondant out to 15″ diameter circle, and lift to cover cake. Smooth with fondant smoother, and trim excess. Remove fondant from the front of the ham with an exacto knife.
5. Using a straight edge or ruler, score fondant into squares. Go over with a veining tool if necessary to exaggerate lines.
6. Using a large paintbrush and water, brush fondant with water to give it a glazed appearance.
7. Press a clove into each of the diamond areas.
8. Cover front of cake (where fondant was removed) with pink buttercream. Add other shades of pink and work into base buttercream for a smooth appearance.
9. Using the reserved slice of cake from leveling the cakes and trim edges to match main cake diameter. Cover top and sides of slice with pink buttercream, and add other shades of pink and work into the base color to smooth. Wrap edge in thin slice of fondant and press in a few cloves.
10. Using the yellow fondant, roll it out to 1/2″ thick and cut with a large, and small round cutter to form a “pineapple” slice. Using a sharp tool score the yellow pineapple with many marks on the top, outer edges and inner edges. Place “pineapple” on top of the ham and place a red candy in the middle of the pineapple as the “cherry”.
11. On serving platter, cover places around where the cake will sit with green icing (garnish, lettuce etc).
12. Transfer cake, and slice of cake/ham with a cake knife, or cake spatula.
13. Add “peas” and “carrots” for additional garnish.
14. Serve cake when desired, preferably for dinner as a great joke! Cake is best consumed within 2-3 days and should be kept refrigerated.
