I don’t drink pop much, when I do though I KILL for an awesome Cherry Vanilla Coke. I don’t know it is something about those flavors combined that really gets me. I remember the first time I had it I was on a date art a restaurant in Schaumburg (Now closed ) called John’s Garage. Turned out the waitress I had was one of my good friends older sisters and I got the Cherry Vanilla coke on her suggestion. I have never turned back in my love for them. Well with all that loving I figure why not try to do different things with a flavor I love!? This is the result of some of that playing around these awesome Cherry Vanilla Coke Cupcakes.. These are an unique and awesome cupcake!
Total Time: 45 Minutes
Makes: 24 Cupcakes
Cupcakes:
2-1/2 Cups Flour
1-1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
Salt
1-3/4 Cup Sugar
10 Tbsp. Butter, Melted
1/2 Cup Milk
3 Tbsp. Oil
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Cherry Coke
6 Egg Whites, Divided
Frosting:
1 Cup Butter, Softened
3 Tbsp. Heavy Cream
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
