SOUTHERN SOUR RECIPE

Into a shaker put:
 
¾ oz honey syrup
½ oz orange juice
½ oz lemon juice
2 oz white corn whisky
 
Into the another shaker put one egg white (use a different shaker so you don’t spoil the booze if you mess up)
Add shakers together and do a dry shake (no ice)
Add ice and do a wet shake
Add ice cubes to a sour glass and strain the shaker into the glass
Shake the foam from the shaker into the cocktail glass
Top the cocktail with soda water
Add 5 or six drops of maple bitters to the top

Makes: 1
 

GOVIND’S GARDEN RECIPE

Into a shaker put:
 
1 pinch of mint
2 oz Pineapple juice
¾ oz Lime juice
¾ oz Lillet — French fortified wine
Lightly muddle the mint
1 ½ oz London Dry Gin
Add ice and shake
Strain over ice into a Collins glass

Pour a float of a strawberry and amaretto liquor. To prepare this blend 1/2 pint of strawberries with 1/2 pint of amaretto and pass through a sieve.
 
Garnish with a mint sprig or strawberry
