Recipes:
Patriotic Red, White, and Blue Layered Healthy Smoothie
-Blue layer- fresh blueberries, frozen blueberries, frozen banana, coconut water
-Red layer- frozen raspberries and strawberries, frozen banana, coconut water
-White layer (“Nicecream”)- frozen banana, coconut water
*This smoothie is vegan / dairy free and naturally gluten free

The best moist Carrot Cake Recipe
-8oz unsweetened canned pineapple (with the liquid drained)
-3 cups all purpose flour
-1 1/2 cups sugar
-Pinch of salt
-4 eggs
-1 pound of washed, peeled, and cut up carrots
-1/2 cup oil of choice (I used avocado)
-1 tablespoon of cinnamon
-1 teaspoon of baking soda
-1/2 cup buttermilk (or buttermilk powder and regular milk)
-1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting
-8oz block of cream cheese
-2 cups of whipping cream
-3/8 cup maple syrup
-2 teaspoons vanilla extract

These are easy and delicious recipes to make for the holiday of 4th of July/ Independence Day. The smoothie is super healthy and quick/ fast to make and can be eaten at breakfast. The moist, rich carrot cake is perfect for either snack or dessert.
