Don’t feel down, this trendy ice cream made with active charcoal powder is surprisingly simple to make.

For goth ice cream:
1 1/3 cups sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon active charcoal powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups heavy cream
For black waffle cones:
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon active charcoal powder
Pinch of salt
Fruity Pebbles, coconut flakes or rainbow sprinkles, to garnish

1. In a small mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, charcoal powder and vanilla.
2. Whip heavy cream until you can see whipped foam. Carefully fold charcoal mixture into whipped cream. Pour into a container and freeze.
3. Heat a waffle cone machine. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients for waffle cones. Add a scoop of batter to machine and cook about 1 to 2 minutes. As soon as they are done, mold them into cone shapes while still hot.
4. Scoop ice cream into waffle cones and garnish if desired. Enjoy!
