Grilled Mac & Cheese
2 slices Texas Toast
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 slices American cheese
1 cup leftover mac and cheese
Hot sauce, to serve
1.Preheat griddle or cast iron pan over medium heat.
2.Spread mayonnaise on the outside of both slices of bread. Place one slice of bread, mayo side down into the pan. Top with 2 slices of cheese, the mac and cheese, another 2 slices of cheese and the top piece of bread. Press down on the sandwich gently and cook until cheese melts and bread becomes golden brown. Turn over and finish cooking. Serve with hot sauce.
