HOW TO MAKE AN UPSIDE DOWN PEAR CAKE

So fluffy and moist, topped with delicious caramelised pears. This cake is absolutely delicious. Perfect for afternoon or morning tea 🙂

Ingredients:

2-3 pears
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of caster sugar (superfine sugar)
1 cup of plain flour
125g of butter
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of golden syrup
1/2 cup of sour cream
1 teaspoons of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of nutmeg – you can also used mixed spice
1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
Extra:
20g of butter
1/3 cup of brown sugar

Bake for 50 mins at 170 degrees celsius, 150 fan forced. Check after 40 mins as each oven is different.
