HOW TO MAKE CINNAMON SCROLLS

Slightly denser than a cinnamon roll, but with all the taste and made in half the time! A must try!

Ingredients:
3 cups of sifted plain flour
1 cup of buttermilk (you can use 1 cup of regular milk with one tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice as a supplement)
1 egg
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of vanilla
pinch of salt

For the topping:
40g of softened butter
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of cinnamon (or more for your taste)

Glaze:
1 cup of sifted icing sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons of milk (add more to get the right consistency)
Optional – dash of caramel flavouring

Bake for 15-18 mins at 375F, 190C, -20 for fan forced ovens
