This is my families favorite spaghetti sauce! I’ve really spoiled my husband and boys because whenever they have another spaghetti sauce it’s always “just ok”.
This homemade spaghetti sauce starts with a from-scratch fresh, flavorful roasted tomato sauce. It’s the base for this recipe and creates one multi-level, exceptional spaghetti sauce!
Feel free to add in any of your favorites meats, herbs or spices. I prefer to keep a basic, fresh tasting sauce and then provide “toppings” like black olives, pepperoni, basil, parmesan, green bell peppers, mushrooms, etc. My guests really likes having a spaghetti bar style dinner.
Don’t forget the garlic bread, salad and wine!!!!
