Cake Pop Recipe: (Makes 24)
300g / 10.5oz buttercream frosting (recipe link below – you can use mine or use store-bought)
400g / 14oz vanilla / white cake (APPROX – the weight of the cake will depend on the type of cake you use. this measurement is for sponge cake, but pound cake or mud cake will be denser and therefore heavier) This equates to 2 x 6″x8″x2″ rectangle cakes or 1 x 12″x16″x2″rectangle sponge cake (I bought mine from Woolworths)
Approx 75g FUNFETTI – also called confetti or sequin sprinkles (50g for recipe mix, 25g to decorate)

Tools & Equipment:
Mixing bowl
Spoon
Zip Lock Bag
Polystyrene block or cake pop stand
Lollypops ticks
Paper straws (optional – they just add some fun colours)
Flat tray or plate (to catch your excess sprinkles)
Tray and wax paper for setting your cake pop balls
Ribbon to decorate (optional)
Scissors

Ingredients:
Vanilla Cake
Vanilla buttercream frosting (recipe link below)
Funfetti Sprinkles (confetti, sequins, sprinkles)
Melted white chocolate or candy melts
