Making A Sweet Valentine’s Day Gift: Korilakkuma Macarons

Easily the most cutest thing I've ever made! Its a pretty long video, probably the longest video I have so far, but its a very detailed video with everything I did to make macarons possible. Something so simple.. has like such complexity to it. At least for me. I've practiced macarons.. a lot like 25 times and counting, and this time I wanted to do something different instead of just circles. This video explains the tools, how to prep your ingredients, the steps, how to make the actual macarons, the frosting, the icing, and how to decorate the macarons. So its like practically four videos in one. I don't really like videos or blogs that have instructions and recipes that you need to gather from like six different pages, so I squished everything into one, hope you dont mind and enjoy the video either way. Once it gets closer to my little cousin's birthday I may or may not make hello kitty macarons~ I hope this somewhat motivates you guys to try it out, I felt like it was pretty simple designing this macarons, its basically, circles, ovals, of icing using small amounts to prevent flooding. Using a toothpick… to spread it. and it helped a lot to look at a lot of Korilakkuma pictures to recognize how to get the exact details of features. Conveniently, I like love colors in shades of pink and white, and already had a bunch of pink things to decorate all around and gave things a Valentine's Day feel. Though these are PERFECT for a gift for valentines day, I do have to warn you, this isn't really something you learn overnight if you are only starting to make macarons. And I don't want anyone to make these for valentine's day and feel reaaally disappointed if they couldn't make these for their boo boos's in a few weeks. But I'm here to help in any way I can, and I would love to answer any questions you have for this. Thank you and enjoy~

If you rather not have to watch a video on making macarons, I did already update my blog on
