Erwan Heussaff shows you how to start off your morning right with these decadent pancakes made with matcha powder and black sesame seeds.

INGREDIENTS
1 ¼ cup / 350 ml buttermilk
3 tsp matcha powder, diluted in 3 tbsp if water
2 eggs
3 tbsp butter
2 cups self rising flour
¼ cup powder sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
xantham gum (0.2g)
2 tbsp toasted black sesame seeds
maple syrup on top
RECIPE
Toast sesame seeds and using a mortar and pestle crush until fine
Mix all the ingredients into a bowl and mix until well incorporated
Heat a cast iron, and cook for 3-4min on each side
Stack pancakes and cover with maple syrup
