Oats Chilla/ Cheela is an instant Indian Breakfast and tiffin recipe. Gram flour and Oats are common ingredients in Bengali kitchen.
These super healthy and quick pancakes are hit in my kitchen, especially those days when we follow a high protein -low carb vegetarian meal. I serve these Cheelas with some Green beans Sabzi(Here is the recipe link, I add cauliflower instead of potato)
Green Beans and Potato Fry ( Bean Aloo Sabzi):
Sometimes I serve these Chillas with a spicy avocado salad and tomato sauce!
Here is the ingredient list:
Serves: 4 pieces
1 cup rolled oats grind to flour
½ cup Besan
1 ¼ cup of water
1 ½ tsp grated ginger
¼ cup Finely Chopped onion
¼ cup finely chopped tomato
¼ cup grated carrots
½ tsp Turmeric
Pinch of Hing
½ tsp whole cumin seeds
¼ tsp Ajwain
½ tsp Red chilli powder
2 chopped green chillies( you can add more or less)
Salt to taste
4-5 tsp Ghee
