Laz’s spicy miso ramen burger is nothing short of a flavor explosion. The miso and Sriracha are brilliant umami combos. Gotta give this one a try!

INGREDIENTS

1 package ramen noodles, cooked (discard seasoning)
1 large egg
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsps canola oil, divided
¾ lb. ground pork
2 Tbsp finely chopped scallion
1 tsp pure sesame oil
1 Tbsp Sriracha
1 Tbsp miso paste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Toppings:

Mayo + Sriracha
Fried egg
Shredded carrots
Kimchi
Seaweed (Nori)

RECIPE

Cook noodles 2 minutes less than package instructions. Drain and rinse in cold water and add noodles to a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg; season with salt and pepper. Mix the eggs with the noodles and separate into 6 ramekins. Cover ramekins with plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook noodles on each side until golden brown, about 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a sheet tray.

In a large bowl, combine the pork, scallion, sesame oil, Sriracha, miso paste, and black pepper. Form into 3 even patties. Heat the remaining oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Cook patties on each side until golden brown about 5 to 6 minutes per side.

Assemble the burgers: ramen bun, spicy mayonnaise, burger, fried egg, shredded carrots, kimchi, nori. Cook with soul. Chow with pleasure!
