But our Chef Upasana introduces you to this unique, yet simple and absolutely delicious Tadka Pav recipe that will go best with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Ingredients

250 gms Plain Flour
½ tsp Kasoori Methi
½ tsp Chat Masala
¼ tsp Pepper Powder
¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
10 gms Sugar
3 gms Yeast
Water (Total 130 to 150ml)
15 ml Mustard Oil
1 tsp Salt
Milk

For Tadka

2tbsp Butter
½ tsp Kasoori Methi
1 tsp Chilli Flakes
½ tsp Chat Masala

Method

– In a bowl mix flour, kasoori methi, chat masala, pepper powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
– Mix them well.
– Make a dough of this mixture by also adding sugar, yeast and water.
– Make a soft dough out of it.
– Mix mustard oil and salt and massage the dough in this mixture.
– Allow the dough to rest for 30 to 40 minutes under a damp cloth in a dark moist corner.
– Kneed the dough for 30 seconds.
– Make 12 portions out of these.
– Place the balls on a baking tray and cover it with a damp cloth also keep it a side for another 30 minutes.
– Once done, brush it with milk.
– Bake it in a pre heated oven at 230° for 12 to 15 minutes.

For The Tadka

– Heat butter, add kasoori methi, chilli flakes and chat masala.
– Mix them well and the tadka is ready.

– Apply the tadka over the baked Pav and have it with a cup of hot tea or coffee.
