Braso De Mercedes is definitely one of the Filipino favorite desserts. It’s like leche flan which I myself couldn’t really resist and eat as much as I can see them. Probably because of the tasty custard at the center and a feel of heaven in my mouth. With soft and marshmallowy melts in your mouth meringue and a rich creamy custard filling, you will surely enjoy this while eating it conveniently in a cup! Braso De Mercedes leveled up for a new way of satisfying your sweet desires!

Ingredients:
CUSTARD
10 egg yolks
1 can (390g) sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

MERINGUE
10 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

COSTING:
10 eggs x 6 = 60php
1 condensed = 32php
1/2 cup sugar = 5php

TOTAL = 97php (for the braso de mercedes)

*Cup I used is optional. You can buy this for 2.75php each (12 x 2.75 = 33php). You can also use plain cupcake liners (8php for 100pcs) and bake them in a muffin tin. Just make sure you use the thicker liners to hold the meringue well.

Braso de Mercedes – 97php
12 cups – 33php
Box – 24php
Total = 154php

154php/12 = 12.83php each cup
You can sell this for 25-30php
