This is one of the penultimate cocktails that was made in honor of the boroughs of New York many decades ago. This particular drink is basically a “perfect” martini: gin, equal parts dry and sweet vermouth, and fresh orange juice. I guess this is also an orange martini. Here’s a twist to this recipe as well: Add two dashes of bitters and it becomes another drink called the Tax Return cocktail! Crazy stuff, man.
THE BRONX
=============
1 oz gin
0.5 oz sweet vermouth
0.5 oz dry vermouth
1 oz fresh orange juice
(add 2 dashes bitters to make the Tax Return cocktail)
