DIY GOURMET CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE
Makes 1 bar Prep 10 mins (+ 1 hour setting time) Cooking 5 mins
Melt a 290g pkt dark, milk or white chocolate melts following packet directions. Pour into a greased and lined 10cm x 22cm Coles Cook & Dine Loaf Pan. Sprinkle with toppings (below). Set aside for 1 hour to set.
Pick a topping
1. Sticky Orange Nut Bar: Place 2 tbs caster sugar, 2 tbs water, orange rind strips and orange zest in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook for 2 mins or until translucent. Transfer orange to a lined tray. Sprinkle over dark chocolate with toasted flaked almonds.
2. Reindeer Food Bar: Combine Coles Brand Trail Mix and black chia seeds in a bowl. Sprinkle over white chocolate.
3. The Nutcracker Bar: Sprinkle pepitas, toasted pistachios, sunflower seeds and black chia seeds over milk chocolate.
4. Dark & Salty Snowflake Bar: Sprinkle sea salt flakes over dark chocolate.
5. Rudolph’s White Christmas Bar: Sprinkle dried cranberries, goji berries and chopped toasted hazelnuts over white chocolate.
6. Tropicana Bar: Sprinkle toasted cashews, toasted coconut chips and dried chopped pineapple over milk chocolate.
