In to a large pot over medium high heat, pour 2 tbs vegetable oil Add a tablespoon butter When it melts, add chopped onions 5 minutes later Add grated garlic 5 minutes later Add in the mushrooms you washed and chopped earlier, cook until tender Another 10 minutes later Add flour and cook, stirring constantly about 2 minutes Add some hot water and mix well to make sure there are no balls of flour left Add rest of the water (4 1/2 cups in total) Add salt and black pepper 20 minutes later Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer, serve hot

250 g (9 oz) mushrooms
1 big size onion
2 tbs flour
1 tbs butter
2 tbs vegetable oil (olive oil would be fine)
200 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
½ tsp of black pepper
2 tsp salt
