When I'm thinking about Holiday flavors, one flavor always stands out and it's the eggnog. So I've decided to make this wonderful Eggnog Cake full of this magical flavor!

Ingredients:
½ cup butter or coconut oil, softened
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon rum extract (optional)
2 cups all-purpose flour or gluten free all purpose flour (stated on the label – substitute cup to cup)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup eggnog
FROSTING:
1/4 cup all-purpose flour or tapioca flour
1/4 cup rum
1-1/2 cups eggnog
1 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
