Make your own rice pasta–it’s easier than you might think!
RECIPE
3/4 cup rice flour
1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. olive oil
1/4 cup water
To a bowl, add rice flour, ground flax seed, salt, olive oil, and water. Stir until a dough forms. Add a tiny bit more water if your dough is too dry, but don’t add too much. Knead the dough until smooth. Sandwich the dough in parchment paper, and roll out. Try to make it as flat and thin as possible. Use a pizza cutter to slice into noodles. Carefully separate the noodles. Drop them into a pot of boiling water, and boil for 3-4 minutes. Drain, and serve with herbs and roasted vegetables, or with a pasta sauce. Makes one serving—or about a cup and a half of cooked pasta.
