Chef Marcus Meacham shows you three different ways rosemary can be prepared to craft one delicious holiday cocktail.

INGREDIENTS

1 lemon
7-8 sugar cubes
3-4 springs of rosemary
water (portioned by amount of sugar used)
vodka

RECIPE

Finely chop 3-4 sprigs of rosemary.

Place 7-8 sugar cubes and chopped rosemary into a ziploc bag. Then, crush with a mallet (put aside ½ to rim your glasses).

To make your simple syrup, add 1 part sugar and 1 part water to a small sauce pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 6-8 minutes.

Meanwhile, line the rim of your cocktail glass with a lemon wedge. Then dip in your rosemary sugar, to rim the edges.

In a shaker, add vodka, fresh lemon juice, and your simple syrup. Then shake vigorously. Once mixed, pour into your sugar rimmed glasses and serve!
