Strip Steak
1 boneless strip steak, 1-inch thick
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1.Season steak on both sides with salt and black pepper.
2.Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with the vegetable oil. Cook steak, 2-3 minutes per side, flipping once, for medium-rare. Remove to a cutting board and let the steak rest 5 minutes. Slice steak and serve.
