CANDY GRILL CUPCAKES:

INGREDIENTS

CUPCAKES:
– 2 cups all purpose flour
– 2 cups granulated sugar
– 3 tablespoons cocoa
– 1 cup butter
– 1/2 cup buttermilk
– 1 cup Pepsi
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– pinch of salt
– 1 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows

FROSTING:
– 1/2 cup of butter
– 3 tablespoons of cocoa
– 6 tablespoons of Pepsi
– 1 box of confectioners sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

DESIGN:
– red metallic cupcake liners
– red and orange starbursts
– tootsie rolls
– white wilton candy melts
– a piece of wax paper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Line a 12 cup muffin pan with *metallic red cupcake liners.

In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda)

In a separate bowl or large glass measuring cup, add buttermilk, egg and vanilla extract and beat together.

In a saucepan, melt the butter, cocoa powder and pepsi medium low heat until combined. Add the marshmallows, stir until melted.

Make a dip in the dry ingredients and add the contents of the saucepan, stir well. (with a wooden spoon) add the buttermilk mixture and stir well to combine.

Divide among muffin cups, bake for 16-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

While they are baking, create the grill and candy burgers and hot dogs. Melt 1/2 a bag of candy melts in a bowl or measuring cup for 30 seconds or until completely melted. Transfer into a plastic piping bag that is prepared with a #3 icing tip

Set aside to dry, when dry spray with edible spray in Silver.
Using tootsie rolls, create a candy hamburger with an orange starburst as the cheese. Using red starbursts,create hot dogs. (

As the cupcakes are cooling, prepare the glaze.

In a saucepan, combine butter, pepsi, cinnamon and cocoa powder. Stir over low heat until the butter has melted.
Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and confectioner's sugar. Mix well. Pour over cupcakes.
