No Bake Thanksgiving Cookies: Oreo Candy Corn Turkeys, Rolo Pilgrim Hats & Nutter Butter Acorns

Today we show you how to make three no-bake cookies (Oreo Candy Corn Turkeys, Rolo Pilgrim Hats & Nutter Butter Acorns) for Thanksgiving Dessert. Canadian Thanksgiving is on Monday October 12, 2015 and we’d like to wish our fellow Canadians a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Oreo Candy Corn Turkeys
Ingredients:
• Oreos (double stuffed, or Pumpkin Spice)
• Candy Corn
• Blue round candy sugar pearls
• Heart sprinkles (small)
• Orange candy covered sunflower seeds
• Rolos
• Maltesers/Whoppers
• Melted chocolate
Procedure:
1. Slice a small section off one Oreo. Using melted chocolate attach it perpendicularly to a second Oreo.
2. Between the layers of cookies on the Oreo, use chocolate to glue candy corns in place. Place them around the Oreo in a fan shape for feathers.
3. Slice a small section off of one Rolo so that the Rolo can lie flush against the vertical Oreo. Glue it in place with chocolate, and then glue a Maltesers on top of the Rolo.
4. Glue a second row of candy corn around the body of the turkey in a fan shape.
5. Place the eyes, beak and waddle in place using chocolate to glue them on the Malteser.
6. Glue hearts at the base of the Rolo for the turkey’s feet.
7. Allow to harden completely before moving.

Rolo Pilgrim Hats
Ingredients:
• Round chocolate covered cookies
• Rolos
• Coloured icing (red, orange, yellow)
• Melted chocolate
Procedure:
1. Glue a Rolo on top of a cookie with melted chocolate.
2. Using orange or red coloured icing fitted with a small round tip, pipe a thin line of icing around the Rolo.
3. Using the yellow icing fitted with a small round tip, pipe a buckle like square shape on top of the first line of icing.
4. Allow to harden completely before moving.

Nutter Butter Acorns
Ingredients:
• Nutter Butter cookies
• Fall themed or fall coloured sprinkles
• Pretzel sticks
• Melted chocolate
Procedure:
1. Slice Nutter Butter cookies in half.
2. Dip cut half into melted chocolate, and then directly into fall sprinkles.
3. Cut a 3/4″-1″ piece of pretzel and dip into melted chocolate, and then press into the top of the “acorn”.
4. Allow to harden completely before serving.
