Sometimes bread can really make the meal. One of my foreign friends in college told me I was fat because “we Americans don’t eat bread with our meals like other cultures” She said you must fill up on bread first so that you won’t eat a lot . LMAOO I still laugh at how elegantly she called me fat like it wasn’t nothing. (she better be glad she wasn’t from here)
