INGREDIENTS
6 eggs, separated
6 Tbsp sugar
2 8-oz containers of mascarpone cheese
2 bags ladyfinger cookies
1 pot of brewed coffee
1 bar dark chocolate
6 amaretti cookies, crumbled

RECIPE

Separate eggs. Place egg yolks in one large bowl and the whites in another large bowl.

In the bowl with the yolks, add the sugar, and beat until smooth. Add the mascarpone and beat again.

Whip the whites until they form peaks, then fold gently into the the yolk mixture.

Quickly soak the ladyfingers one at a time (for no more than 5 seconds) in the coffee and begin to line the baking pan.

Assemble tiramisu by spreading a layer of the egg mixture on top of the ladyfingers. Add another layer of ladyfingers, followed by another layer of the egg mixture.

Grate the dark chocolate over top and finish with some crumbled amaretti cookies.

Chill in the fridge for at least four hours. Enjoy!
