This is important because if you plan a meal which is too difficult you may spend too much time in the kitchen working on the meal and not enough time enjoying the results of your efforts with your loved one.
With any Valentines Day dinner recipes you select consider your partners personal preferences as well as allergies or any dietary restrictions. This will help to ensure you are cooking a meal which both you and your partner will truly enjoy. For example a steak dinner may seem romantic but if your partner is vegetarian, vegan or Hindu he/she may not appreciate this type of meal.
If you are planning around Valentines Day food ideas, and Valentine's Day recipes you should also purchase all the ingredients ahead of time. This will help to ensure you are not have to do some last-minute shopping to get all the ingredients, and avoid a great deal of stress. Two more quick and super easy recipes for Valentines Day you can serve separate or as a menu.
A) Bruschetta
You only need a loaf of sourdough bread, some ripe tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
1. Wash the tomatoes, remove the cores and squeeze out the seeds. Put them in a bowl, mix with the washed and chopped basil leaves, season with salt and pepper, and add some olive oil and a swig of vinegar.
2. Cut the bread into finger-thick slices, put in a pan and toast from both sides. Drizzle the bread with some virgin olive oil and sprinkled some salt and pepper.
3. Place the topping on the toasted bread slices.

B) Smoked Salmon Fettuccine With Mushrooms
You need fettuccine pasta, smoked salmon slices, whipped cream, white mushrooms (champignon), tomato paste, pesto (any ready made green pesto, or basil pesto, or pesto verde or genovese), salt, black pepper.
1. Bring a pot of water to boil, put the fettuccine in, cook fettuccine noodles al dente for the recommended time.
2. Meanwhile, wash and cut the mushrooms. Cut the smoked salmon slices, put in a non-sticky pan (no oil needed) and flash-fry the salmon for a moment until it just changes color. Pour a bit of water, add the mushrooms and let it cook for 3 minutes. Add a dash of cream, 1 tsp. pesto and 3 tsp. tomato paste and stir, season with salt and pepper.
Honestly these two Valentine recipes ideas are super easy to cook and fast to prepare. Valentine's Day pasta recipes are an all-time favorite.
