The BEST Chocolate buttercream frosting EVER!<\/p>\n<p>Recipe:<br \/>\n650g \/ 1lb 7oz Powdered sugar<br \/>\n225g \/ 8oz Butter, softened (eqv. 2 sticks)<br \/>\n100g \/ 3.5oz Milk chocolate, melted<br \/>\n30g \/ 1oz Unsweetened cocoa<br \/>\n1 tsp Vanilla essence<br \/>\n1-2 tbsp Whole milk<\/p>\n<p>Instructions:<br \/>\nPlace softened butter into a mixing bowl<br \/>\nBeat on high speed with an electric mixer (whisk or paddle attachment) for AT LEAST 5 minutes, until the butter has lightened in colour and is thoroughly whipped<br \/>\nAdd vanilla essence and beat to incorporate<br \/>\nAdd 1 cup of powdered sugar and begin mixing on low speed. Beat on high speed for approx 2 minutes<br \/>\nRepeat this process one cup at a time until all of your \u00ac\u00acpowdered sugar has been added<br \/>\nAdd cocoa and mix for a further 2 minutes<br \/>\nUse your milk if your mixture becomes too thick or dry &#8211; add a dash at a time to thin the mixture out<br \/>\nScrape down the sides as needed and make sure no white frosting is visible<br \/>\nCarefully melt your milk chocolate using a microwave (30 second intervals) or double boiler<br \/>\nTake your melted chocolate and quickly add it to your buttercream mixture.
