SUBSCRIBE to my gardening channel! http:\/\/bit.ly\/InBethsGarden<\/p>\n<p>MY FAVORITE SPRING DESSERT RECIPES!<br \/>\nFoolproof Madeleines http:\/\/bit.ly\/MadeleinesEWB<br \/>\nLemon Pound Cake Recipe http:\/\/bit.ly\/EWBLemonPoundCake<br \/>\nRaspberry Cheesecake http:\/\/bit.ly\/EWBCheesecake<br \/>\nStrawberry Shortcake Cupcakes http:\/\/bit.ly\/1xTpVrq<br \/>\nCarrot Cake Cupcakes http:\/\/bit.ly\/1bBiRvk<br \/>\nKey Lime Cups http:\/\/bit.ly\/KeyLimeEWB<br \/>\nFoolproof French Macarons http:\/\/bit.ly\/1qUuoup<br \/>\nStrawberry Ice Cream Baskets http:\/\/bit.ly\/1zJttCc<br \/>\nCreme Brulee http:\/\/bit.ly\/EWBCreme<br \/>\nCoffee Cake http:\/\/bit.ly\/CrumbCakeEWB<br \/>\nFoolproof Crepes http:\/\/bit.ly\/1sXywZS<\/p>\n<p>BETH&#8217;S CREAM CHEESE BROWNIE RECIPE<br \/>\nMakes 12 squares or 24 triangles<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<br \/>\n1 cup (240 g) of unsalted butter<br \/>\n4 oz  (113 g) semi-sweet chocolate (or about \u00be cup of chocolate chips)<br \/>\n12 oz (339 g)  bittersweet chocolate<br \/>\n1 cup (200 g) of sugar<br \/>\n1 \u00bd tsp (7.5 ml) vanilla extract<br \/>\n\u00bd  tsp (2.5 ml) instant coffee<br \/>\n3 eggs<br \/>\n1 cup (120 g) of flour<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp (2.5 ml) salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp (2.5 ml) baking soda<br \/>\n8 oz (226 g) cream cheese<br \/>\n\u00bc cup (25 g) powdered sugar<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla<br \/>\n2 tbsp  (15 g) flour<\/p>\n<p>METHOD:<br \/>\nPreheat oven to 350F\/176C. <\/p>\n<p>Melt chocolate and butter in a sauce pan on low.  Add vanilla and instant coffee, stir to combine. Allow to cool slightly.<\/p>\n<p>Add sugar, and eggs and beat together until smooth.<\/p>\n<p>In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.  Whisk to combine.<\/p>\n<p>Add  flour mixture to chocolate mixture (right in the sauce pan) and whisk until smooth. <\/p>\n<p>Transfer into a  13x 9 (32.5cm x 23cm) pan, lined with foil.  Pour brownie batter into pan (Reserving 1 cup of batter for the topping), and smooth with a spatula. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar until combined.  Add egg, beat until mixed, add vanilla, beat again, and then add flour, beat until combined.<\/p>\n<p>Pour cream cheese mixture over brownie mixture until completely covered.  Then with a spoon or mini ice cream scoop.  Dollop brownie mixture every 1-2 inches (2-5cm) across the pan. <\/p>\n<p>Then take a skewer or knife and run it through the brownie dollops and cream cheese mixture horizontally and then vertically.  And swirls will form.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for 25-30 mins until brownies are set. NOTE: NOT TO WORRY BROWNIES WILL PUFF UP AND CRACK WHILE IN THE OVEN BUT THEN THEY WILL SETTLE DOWN ONCE COOLED. <\/p>\n<p>Allow to cool and then place in the fridge for 1-2 hours or overnight is even better!  They really firm up that way and become very fudgy and easy to cut.  So if you can do overnight it\u2019s worth the wait.<\/p>\n<p>Cut into squares and then cut squares on the diagonal to form triangles.<\/p>\n<p>ABOUT THIS CHANNEL<br \/>\nHi!
