{"id":26461,"date":"2017-04-17T08:23:57","date_gmt":"2017-04-17T07:23:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lovesharingfood.com\/korean-gnocchi-frankie-celenza\/"},"modified":"2017-04-17T08:23:57","modified_gmt":"2017-04-17T07:23:57","slug":"korean-gnocchi-frankie-celenza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lovesharingfood.com\/korean-gnocchi-frankie-celenza\/","title":{"rendered":"Korean Gnocchi | Frankie Celenza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[ad_1]<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qVJNsQ-oIow\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n[ad_2]<\/p>\n<p>Today Frankie prepares Korean Gnocchi &#8211; spicy and flavorful rice cakes mixed with Italian sausage. <\/p>\n<p>Subscribe to Frankie&#8217;s channel: http:\/\/taste.md\/1Svw5wf<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<\/p>\n<p>Sesame oil<br \/>\n1 cup hot italian sausage, out of casing<br \/>\n6 scallions, split and roughly choppped<br \/>\nsesame seeds<br \/>\n\u00bd &#8211; 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, chopped<br \/>\n2 Tbsp tomato paste<br \/>\nKorean Rice cakes<br \/>\n1 bunch torn thai basil, or italian<\/p>\n<p>in a food processor combine:<br \/>\n\u00bd c white wine<br \/>\n1 heaping Tbsp gochujang<br \/>\n1 heaping Tbsp of miso<br \/>\n\u00bd &#8211; 1 pear, roughly chopped<br \/>\n\u00bd red onion<\/p>\n<p>RECIPE<\/p>\n<p>In a large heated non-stick skillet, add a bit of oil and add the crumbled, de-cased sausage.<\/p>\n<p>Once the fat begins to render add the mushrooms and scallions.<\/p>\n<p>In a food processor, add the gochujang, pear, red onion, miso, white wine and tomato paste and pulse until smooth.  the mixture from the food processor and a whole bunch of basil leaves.<\/p>\n<p>Add this mixture to the saute pan, and reduce this until relatively thick.<br \/>\nBoil the rice cakes [per package instructions], once boiled, add the rice cakes to the saute pan and try to get a golden crispy<\/p>\n<p>Turn the heat up under the saute pan and add the cooked rice cakes, stir and allow the rice cakes to crisp up nicely and add the torn basil.<br \/>\nPlate and top with sesame oil &#038; sesame seeds.<\/p>\n<p>___<\/p>\n<p>Follow us!
