The Yellow Bird is made with light rum, pineapple and orange juice, banana liqueur, and Galliano. We tried making the West Indes version of the Yellow Bird (with no banana liqueur or pineapple juice, add dark rum and lime juice), but a) that version wasn’t that yellow, and b) this version tastes a lot better, in my opinion.
