Hi everyone and Happy New Year to you all! I’m taking a bit of time out at the moment but don’t worry, the wheels at Crumbs & Doilies hardly ever stop spinning and so, as a special treat, I thought you might like to see some behind the scenes action! Here’s my right-hand girl, Sally, creating everyone’s favourite, the mighty Unicorn Cake. Fluffy, sprinkle-specked sponge, beautiful pastel ombré buttercream, white chocolate drip and rainbow unicorn poop meringues (expertly baked by Dane in this video), it’s no wonder it’s one of our most popular cakes here at the bakery. Watch and weep!
