Fun and easy baking recipe for jam tarts:

You will need the following ingredients:

1 x roll of puff pastry
half a cup or less of apricot jam for the topping
a quarter cup of icing sugar for sprinkling

The method:

Step 1: Cut the puff pastry into strips and then into rectangles.
Step 2: Cut diagonal strips into each corner.
Step 3: Fold over every alternate strip until you get the shape of a flower / star as shown in the video.
Step 4: Pop the folded shapes onto a baking tray and pop into the oven for 10 minutes on 180 degrees celsius or 356 degrees fahrenheit.
Step 5: Once the tarts are golden brown, remove from the oven and allow the tartlets to cool down.
