http://www.thefndc.com/how-to-make-skittles-vodka/ Earlier this week, we taught you how to make Skittles vodka, so now it’s time to taste the rainbow and find out how our Skittles Vodka tastes! The quick rundown: Grape tastes very sweet, a little reminiscent of cough syrup. The Green apple flavor was Granny Smith like without a lot of burn, and the Orange Skittle flavor was pretty decent as well with little burn. The Lemon was not as citrus flavored as I expected, but still worth it. The Strawberry Skittles vodka was a little disappointing, and had a bit of a burn on the back end – not terrible, but not great either.
The results were a little surprising to me as well. We’ll be coming back in the weeks and months to come with some Skittles vodka recipes so we can use up this batch. It’s been a minute since we’ve done some original cocktails, so that ought to be something to look for on the horizon.
