How to Make Popcorn Ice Cream | Cupcake Jemma

As if popcorn wasn’t already awesome, this recipe actually makes it MORE awesome! By turning it in to ice cream! WIN!!

Recipe –

480ml double cream (heavy cream)
480ml whole milk
6 cups of popcorn (homemade or store bought plain or butter popcorn)
6 egg yolks
140 light soft brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
55g browned butter, cooled
Caramel popcorn to decorate
