Chivda is a traditional snack recipe of India. It prepared with flattened rice or Poha, nuts and few Indian spices. Besicully we prepare this recipe in Diwali purpose. So let’s learn the recipe with me only on “Soumali’s Kitchen”.

How to prepare Chivda Recipe | Diwali Special Recipe | India Snack Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
Poha(flattened rice) – 3 cups,
Cashew – 3 tbsp,
Peanuts – 3 tbsp,
Dry coconut – 2 tbsp chopped,
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp,
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp,
Curry leaves – 2 tbsp,
Green chilli – 2 chopped,
Hing(asafoetida) – 1/2 tsp,
Salt to taste,
Oil – 3 tbsp,

METHOD:
HEAT THE OIL then put cumin seeds stir it a while. Add cashew and peanute and fry them until light brown.

Add coconut pieces, green chilli, turmeric powder and salt stir it a while.

Add hing and curry leaves, mix well.

Then add poha into it and fry for 2 minutes.

Serve hot.
