Today I will show you how to make a very healthy and tasty treat. I fell in love with this recipe at first sight and I hope you will love it dearly, too.

Recipe:
200 grams of sunflower seeds
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of honey
1-2 tablespoons of water
1tablespoons of sunflower seed oil

Let’s start by getting the surface ready. When we start making the bars, we’ll have no time for that. Cover the table with tin foil and grease the foil with some sunflower seed oil.
Now it’s time to make our energy bars themselves.
First, fry the sunflower seeds in a frying pan. The bars will be much tastier if you do it. I will use sunflowers seeds only for my bars, but you can also add any other seeds or nuts to it. For example, sesame seeds will work well here.
Next, make the honey-caramel sauce. Heat some honey in a frying pan, add sugar and let the mixture boil. I added a couple of tablespoons of water to the sauce.
When the sauce starts to boil, put the fried sunflower seeds into the pan and mix them well. Make sure that every seed is well-covered in the sauce.
After that put this hot mass onto the greased foil, make it even with a wooden spatula and shape it as a rectangle. The rectangle should be about 1 cm (1/2 inch) thick. Be careful not to burn your hands, because the mass is really hot. We don’t want any injures, do we?
When this sweet rectangle cools down a little, you can touch it with your hands. It goes without saying that your hands must be clean.
Before the big sunflower seeds and honey bar hardens up completely, I cut it up into smaller pieces. That’s it! The only thing left to do is to wait for it to finally cool down and harden.
